The McEwen Ranch is a quality Northeastern New Mexico ranch comprised of four non-contiguous tracts located in close proximity to one another. Each ranch tract is well improved and they operate very efficiently together. The McEwen Ranch tracts #1-4 are offered together for sale as one unit but may also be purchased individually or in combination by multiple buyers subject to acceptable offers. Tract #1:

The Logan Ranch is a very good Northeastern New Mexico ranch with easy access and excellent improvements. The ranch consists of 3,425+/- deeded acres, 520 NM State lease acres, and has been strategically improved and well managed. The topography transitions from level to rolling on the east to canyon breaks on the far west side of the ranch. The fences and cross fences are good to new with approximately 12 miles having been recently built. On the north end of the ranch there is a new set of pipe pens with a working chute, scales, truck load out, and a bunkhouse/hunting cabin. Water is furnished by 3 electric wells and distributed through underground pipeline to fiberglass stock tanks. The ranch is home to a variety of wildlife including mule deer, antelope, quail, and dove. Additionally, 2,929.87+/- acres are enrolled in Grasslands CRP for an annual payment of $44,963.

Tract #2:

The Highway 54 ranch a very good Northeastern New Mexico ranch with easy access and excellent improvements. The ranch consists of 2,323.65+/- deeded acres and has been strategically improved and well managed. The fences and cross fences are good to new with approximately 5 miles having been recently built. On the west end of the ranch there is a new set of pipe pens with a working chute and ground load out, and on the east side of the ranch is a large water lot with branding pens.. Water is furnished by one windmill and an electric well with water distributed by underground pipeline to fiberglass stock tanks. There is an EQIP Contract in place on the ranch to cost share a cross fence, continue brush control, and enhance water distribution. The ranch is also home to a variety of wildlife including mule deer, antelope, quail, and dove.

Tract #3:

The Ranch Headquarters is a very nice Northeastern New Mexico property with good access, excellent improvements, and a convenient location. The ranch consists of 90 +/- deeded acres which includes 31 irrigated acres. Located on the property is a 1,830 sq. ft., three bedroom, two bath owners home with many recent updates. Other improvements include 3 boxcars for storage, horse run with shed, pipe pens with a covered working chute, and pipe roping arena. There is a rural water tap on the property as well as an electric well. Irrigation water is furnished by the Arch Hurley Conservancy District irrigation canal system and has historically been utilized to flood irrigate the grass pastures. The Ranch Headquarters is very well improved and conveniently located to all of the McEwen Ranch tracts.

Tract #4:

The Crain Ranch is a very unique Northeastern New Mexico ranch with excellent access, scenic native pasture, spring fed creeks, and irrigated bermuda grass pasture. The ranch consists of 474.7+/- deeded acres which includes 267 irrigated acres. The boundary fences and cross fences are good to new with approximately 2.5 miles having been recently built. On the north end of the ranch there is a 1,796 sq. ft. three bedroom two-and-a-half bath home and pipe pens with a working chute and ground load out. Stock water is furnished by an electric well and distributed through underground pipeline to stock tanks. Irrigation water is furnished by the Arch Hurley Conservancy District irrigation canal system and has historically been utilized to flood irrigate the bermuda grass pastures. The Alamosito and Plaza Larga Creeks intersect on the ranch creating a beautiful setting with springs, rock outcroppings, and tree lined creek bottoms. The convergence of these two creeks combined with irrigated pastures also makes an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife including mule deer, antelope, quail, and dove. 

PROPERTY LOCATION

Tract #1: North of Logan, Nm on NM-39 to CR E. West off the pavement less than 1/4 mile to the ranch.
Tract #2: Between Tucumcari and Logan, NM, on HWY 54, go to QR AH and turn south. The ranch is on the east side of the intersection of QR AH and Hwy 54.
Tract #3: Between Tucumcari and San Jon heading west, take exit 343 and go north on QR AD 3.75 miles to QR 67. Turn right(East) for approximately 1 mile to the property entrance on the north.
Tract #4: Between Tucumcari and San Jon, NM heading east, take exit 343 and turn south on QR AD to the property entrance.
