Own a piece of Texas History. The Sierrita de la Cruz Ranch is located approximately 18 miles northwest of Amarillo, Texas. There are approximately 3,328 acres of ranchland that will be offered in five tracts.
The Auction will take place on Tuesday, September 20th at 2:00 pm at the Amarillo Country Club, 4800 Bushland Blvd. Amarillo, TX. 79106. An Auction Information Meeting will be held at the same location at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, August 30th. Be sure to attend this meeting to learn more about this Ranch and the Bidder’s Choice Auction Process.
This is a Bidder’s Choice Auction. The first round highest bidder earns the right to choose one tract, multiple tracts, or the entire ranch at their submitted bid. After the highest bidder has made their selection of tracts in the first round of bidding and those tracts have been marked as Sold, the second round of bidding will begin on the remaining tracts. The highest bidder of the second round earns the right to choose the tract or tracts they wish to purchase from those remaining tracts. This process will continue until all five tracts are sold. Tract 1 – 655+/- Acres – This is a beautiful secluded native grass section with a dirt tank on top of the mesa and a windmill in the southeast corner of the section. There are approximately 491 acres on top of the mesa with the balance in the bottom.
Tract 2 – 671+/- Acres – The rugged beauty of this tract and live water create good wildlife habitat. Fuqua Draw and Sierrita de la Cruz Creek run through this section.
Tract 3 – 668+/- Acres – Sierrita de la Cruz Creek runs through the southeast corner of this section. There is an electric well and livestock tank on the eastern side of the Tract. There are approximately 165 acres on top of the mesa. You can access this tract on top via Cedar Creek Rd.
Tract 4 – 674+/- Acres – Both Bush Creek and Sierrita de la Cruz Creek run through this Tract. There is one windmill and livestock watering tank in the northwest corner.
Tract 5 – 660+/- Acres -This section has direct access from FM 1061 in the northeast corner. Responsible livestock management has resulted in good native pasture. This tract is fenced on three sides.

Directions to the Ranch: From NW Loop 335 in Amarillo, Texas take FM 1061 (Tascosa Road) northwest for approximately 18.25 miles to the northeast corner of Tract 5. The ranch lies on the west side of FM 1061.
