US Senate Rejects Amendment on Lesser Prairie Chicken KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – The U.S. Senate has rejected an amendment by Sen. Jerry Moran of Kansas that would have removed the lesser prairie chicken from the federal government’s threatened species act.
